Mandarin sports: Mustangs do well in state, regional meets

Mandarin High School did some serious representing this week across the state.

Let's start with the girls bowling team, which is one of the top teams in Florida and proved that at the FHSAA State Finals Nov. 9-10 in Orlando. The Mustangs placed third, advancing to the final round of the consolation bracket before losing to Martin County High School.

The squad is made up of Rebekah Milliken, Taylor Chenoweth, Amanda Lundy, Jamie Atherton and Haley Quintero.
