Oviedo, St. Cloud, Harmony and Edgewater cross country heading to state

The girls cross country teams from Oviedo, St. Cloud and Harmony and the St. Cloud and Edgewater boys teams will be competing at Saturday’s Class 3A FHSAA state championships in Dade City at Little Everglades Ranch.

Oviedo’s girls, led by sophomore Danielle Turk, took first-place in the team standings with 63 points at the 3A-4 region meet, bettering second-place St. Cloud by 10 points. Harmony was third in the team standings with 90 points.
