Wildcats hungry for a state title

The Washington High boys cross country team hasn't had a season like this one since 2004. And that year, the Wildcats won their first state championship.
On Saturday, the Wildcats will look to do it again at the Class 3A state title meet at Little Everglades Ranch in Dade City.
"These guys have it (a state title) in their mind," Washington coach Everett Whiteside said. "They're as mentally tough and prepared and focused as any group I've ever had — even more so than the 2004 team."
