Pre-race Festivities - Florida FHSAA State Cross Country Championships 2016 - DyeStatFLPublished by
DyeStatFL was onsite today at the Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, FL for the 2016 FHSAA Cross Country Championships. Today, athletes were previewing the course and getting to know the lay of the land here in Tallahassee. The races will start tomorrow morning at 8:00 am. This will be the fifth time the FHSAA Cross Country Championships are being held at the Apalachee Regional Park. Here's a little of what we saw today at the course: TIMBER CREEK BOYS
The Timber Creek Boys, 4A District 4 and Region 1 champions, get ready for the State Meet by doing a day-before run around the course. The Wolves were recently ranked number two in the last FACA Coaches Poll. WINTER PARK GIRLS
The Winter Park girls are gearing up for their big race tomorrow, looking to bring home a fourth consecutive team state title. They are the favorites going in, but will have to fight off Steinbrenner for the title. NEWSOME BOYS AND GIRLS
The Newsome boys and girls are out previewing the course in preparation for tomorrow’s meet. The Newsome boys were recently ranked number three in the FACA Coaches poll and the girls were ranked number six.
